FAQs
How long will it take for my order to arrive after I placed it?
Our process is a multi-step process and each individual item is hand-painted to order. Items then need to be glazed, fired and then sanded/tested before we are able to pack them up for you. We therefore state a minimum of 4-5 week turnaround before your items are dispatched.
Can I make changes to my order?
We do try our best to accomodate changes if and where possible on non-personalised items, but depending on the status of your order this may not always be possible.
We are unable to make any changes to any personalised items after 48 hours of placing an order. So please ensure all spelling and design choices are final upon ordering. Changes wanting to be made after 48 hours will have to pay in full or a replacement.
Are you able to make two items completely identical?
As the items are hand-painted and not mass produced, it would be impossible to get items 100% identical. There may be slight differences in things such as motif positioning within a design or slight colour differences from the glaze firings. However these would only be minor. We like to think that each piece is therefore completely unique in its own way.
Can I return/exhange an item?
Unfortunately due to the nature of the process, we do not accept returns or exchanges - unless damaged in transit (See below)
My item has arrived damaged, what shall I do?
Any orders that arrive damaged, must be notified to us within 24 hours of receiving the order. We will then try our best to rectify the issue as fast as we can for you.
What is Crazing?
In the pottery world crazing is a visual effect that gives the appearance of fine hairline cracks across the surface of the ceramic. This can happen over time and most commonly in items that have the most heavy use, such as mugs. Over the years we have worked so hard identifying items that are more resistant of this happening, and any items we have noticed this happen to we have removed from our product list.
Crazing has no physical impact on the use of the items, it is more of a visual effect.
Do you ship to Northern Ireland?
Due to the government changes on the 13th Dec 2024, the new restrictions have made it impossible for us to get your orders through customs. Therefore we have had to temporarily stop shipping to NI, until we get confirmation on how we can get your orders to you. So thank you for bearing with us while we work on this.
